Οι παλαιότερες τοιχογραφίες του Ιερού Ναού Αγίας Μαρίνας βρισκονται στα κατώτερα μέρη των τοίχων, στα τόξα των κιονοστοιχιών, καθώς και σε ξυλὀπηκτους τρούλους ενσωματωμένους στην ξύλινη οροφή του ναού. Στος τοίχους απεικονίζονται κυρίως ολόσωμοι Άγιοι, καθώς και η σκηνή της Διδασκαλίας του Αποστόλου Παύλου στον Άρειο Πάγο της Αθήνας. Στους τρούλους απεικονίζονται ο Χριστός ως Παντοκράτορας, Η Αγία Τριάδα και ο Χριστός ως Μεγάλης Βουλής Άγγελος. Στις κιονοστοιχίες απεικονίζονται οι τέσσερις Ευαγγελιστές και Απόστολοι. Χρονολογούνται ευθύς μετά την κατασκευή του ναού το 1852. Φαίνεται ότι το έργο ξεκίνησε ο ζωγράφος Κωνσταντίνος Θεοδοσίου και το ολοκλήρωσε ο αδερφός του Βασίλειος. Το 1855 ο ζωγράφος Πέτρος Γεωργιάδης έφτιαξε την απεικόνιση του Αγίου Θεοδώρου. (EL)
The older murals of the Church of Agia Marina are found in the lower parts of the walls, in the arches of the colonnades, as well as in wooden domes embedded in the wooden ceiling of the church. Full-length Saints, as well as the scene of Apostle Paul’s Areopagus sermon in Athens are mostly depicted on the walls. The domes depict Christ as Pantokrator, The Holy Trinity and Christ as the Great Parliament Angel. The colonnades depict the four Evangelists and Apostles. They are dated immediately after the construction of the church in 1852. It seems that the work started by the painter Konstantinos Theodosiou and was completed by his brother Basil. In 1855 the painter Petros Georgiadis made the depiction of Saint Theodore. (EN)
