ΒΙΟΜΗΧΑΝΙΚΗ ΕΓΚΑΤΑΣΤΑΣΗ- η Λάβα α.ε. δραστηριοποιείται στο χώρο εξόρυξης και επεξεργασίας βιομηχανικών ορυκτών από το 1952. Η κύρια δραστηριότητά της ειναι η παραγωγή διαβαθμισμένης ελαφρόπετρας από το ορυχείο της εταιρείας στο Γυαλί Νισύρου. Προωθητές τροφοδοτούν ενα σύστημα μεταφορικών ταινιών, κοσκίνων και σπαστήρων το οποίο διακινεί και αποθέτει τα διαβαθμισμένα προιόντα σε ειδικά διαμορφωμένα πλατώματα. Από εκεί ένα δεύτερο σύστημα ταινιών με δυνατότητα ομοιογενούς ανάμιξης ποιοτήτων τροφοδοτεί με υλικό πλοία εώς 30.000 τόνους. (EL)
INDUSTRIAL FACILITY - Lava s.a. has been active in the mining and processing of industrial minerals since 1952. Its main activity is the production of graded pumice from the company's mine in Gyali Nisyrou. Boosters feed a system of conveyor belts, sieves and breakers which moves and deposits the graded products on specially shaped platforms. From there, a second belt system with the possibility of homogenous mixing of qualities supplies ships of up to 30,000 tons with material. (EN)
