ΒΙΟΜΗΧΑΝΙΚΗ ΕΓΚΑΤΑΣΤΑΣΗ- Ιδιοκτήτης της Βιομέλ είναι ο κ. Χατζηδημητρίου Θεοδόσης. Αρχικά λειτούργησε με την ονομασία Μέλισσα. Το 1957 ιδρύθηκε η βιομηχανία και εμπορία ζαχαρωδών προϊόντων Βιομέλ, με πρωτόγνωρη για την εποχή και τα ελληνικά δεδομένα τεχνογνωσία. Το κτήριο κατασκευάστηκε εξαρχής με βιομηχανικές προδιαγραφές και κάθε χώρος αντιστοιχεί σε διαφορετική φάση της παραγωγικής διαδικασίας με την αντίστοιχη μηχανή. Χαρακτηριστικό του κτηρίου είναι ο φωταγωγός, ο οποίος είναι κατασκευασμένος με τέτοιο τρόπο ώστε χίλια τετραγωνικά μέτρα δέχονται φυσικό φως απροβλημάτιστα μέχρι και στη τελευταία γωνιά. (EL)
INDUSTRIAL FACILITY- The owner of Biomel is Mr. Hatzidimitriou Theodosis. Initially it operated under the name Melissa. In 1957, the industry and trading of sugary products Viomel was founded, with a know-how unprecedented for the time and Greek standards. The building was constructed from the beginning with industrial specifications and each room corresponds to a different phase of the production process with the corresponding machine. A characteristic feature of the building is the skylight, which is constructed in such a way that a thousand square meters receive natural light unobstructed down to the last corner. (EN)
