Description

ΒΙΟΜΗΧΑΝΙΚΗ ΕΓΚΑΤΑΣΤΑΣΗ- Ο μοναδικός ξυλόφουρνος του νησιού βρίσκεται στον οικισμό σε στεγασμένο χώρο και διαθέτει και παραστιά(μαγειρική εστία). Κάτω από την παραστιά υπάρχει μια γούρνα με νερό, όπου βρέχουν την πάνα (κοντάρι στη μία άκρη του οποίου είναι δεμένο ένα πανί) πριν το πάνισμα του δαπέδου του φούρνου. Ο θόλος και το δάπεδο του φούρνου είναι κατασκευασμένα με πατηνιώτικο(από την Πάτμο) κεραμίδι. Ο θόλος έχει μικρό ύψος 0,60μ. σε σχέση με τη διάμετρό του 1,30 μ. Υπάρχει σκαρίφημα από τη σχετική βιβλιογραφία. (EL)

INDUSTRIAL FACILITY- The only wood stove on the island is located in the settlement in a covered area and also has a fireside (cooker). Under the fireside there is a trough of water, where one wets the diaper (a pole with a cloth tied to one end) before covering the oven floor. The dome and the floor of the oven are made with Patiniotiko(from Patmos) tiles. The dome has a small height of 0.60 m. in relation to its diameter of 1.30 m.
