ΒΙΟΜΗΧΑΝΙΚΗ ΕΓΚΑΤΑΣΤΑΣΗ- Το ταπητουργείο ξεκίνησε από τη σχολή ΕΟΜΕΧ. Παλιά λειτουργούσε σε σπίτι. Επί Δημάρχου Μάγκου (το 1978) μεταφέρθηκε στο νέο κτήριο (βλ. φωτο.). Η γυναικεία ομάδα έχει πλέον εξειδικευτεί στη δημιουργία αυθεντικών περσικών χαλιών. Σήμερα στον ίδιο χώρο στεγάζεται γυμναστήριο, το ταπητουργείο δεν λειτουργεί ενώ σώζονται οι αργαλειοί. (EL)

INDUSTRIAL FACILITY- The carpet factory started by the HOSMEH (Hellenic Organization of Small-Medium Enterprises and Handicrafts) school. It used to work privately. Under Mayor Magos (in 1978) it was moved to the new building (see photo). The women's team now specializes in creating authentic Persian rugs. Today, a gym is housed in the same area, the carpet factory does not operate while the looms are preserved. (EN)
