Ο Γ. Μαυρομμάτης ενημερώνει τον Ιω. Κωλέττη για την απόλυσή του και τον πληροφορεί ότι η Κυβέρνηση πρότεινε με προβούλευμα να της δοθεί η άδεια της πωλήσεως των προσόδων, έτσι ώστε η χρηματοδοτηθεί η εκστρατεία η Ρούμελης, αλλά θα είναι δύσκολο να γίνει δεκτή η αποδοχή του.
