Το έργο απεικονίζει την προβλήτα ενός λιμανιού. Η παράσταση είναι χωρισμένη σε δύο μέρη. Αριστερά απλώνεται η καμπύλη του λιμανιού με τα πλοία, ενώ παράλληλα σε αυτή εκτείνεται ο δρόμος πάνω στον οποίο κάνουν βόλτα οι περαστικοί. Η σύνθεση είναι ιμπρεσιονιστικού χαρακτήρα. (EL)
