Ο David Bergé από το 2008 πραγματοποιεί τα «Περιπατητικά» έργα του, στα οποία καθοδηγεί σιωπηλά τους συμμετέχοντες σ’ ένα ακριβές χρονοδιάγραμμα μέσα από τις υφές και τις υποδομές που συντελούν μια πόλη. Στα Περιπατητικά έργα ο καλλιτέχνης και οι συμμετέχοντες περνούν μέσα από αρχαίες, μοντέρνες και σύγχρονες υποδομές. Το χειρόγραφο «Περίπατοι στη σιωπή-χωρικές οδηγίες για τη μόλυνση του πεζού σώματος» αποτελεί μέρος της έρευνας του David Bergé σχετικά με την περιπατική του performance στη Θεσσαλονίκη το 2018. Αποτελεί ένα πακέτο οδηγιών για τον «οδηγό» και περιγράφει το περιβάλλον μέσα από το οποίο πραγματοποιήθηκε η περιπατική performance και η πυκνότητα της γραφής αναφέρεται στη δυσκολία του περιπάτου στον αστικό χώρο. Since 2008, David Bergé has been creating his " Peripatetic" silently guiding participants through a precise schedule within the textures and infrastructures that constitute a city. In the "Walk Pieces" the artist and participants traverse ancient, modern and contemporary infrastructures. The manuscript " Routes in silence - Spatial Instructions for the Contamination of the Pedestrian Body" is part of David Bergé's research regarding his walking performance in Thessaloniki in 2018. It consists of a set of instructions for the "guide" and describes the environment in which the walking performance took place, with the density of the writing reflecting the challenges of walking in an urban space.
