Institution : The Ephorate of Antiquities of Euboea
Three thousand (3.000) artefacts and monuments dated in the Byzantine and Post Byzantine era from Euboea, the island of Skyros and Boeotia. The numerous monuments are mainly churches, monasteries, towers, castles and other secular buildings; not only the buildings themselves but also details of their decorations, such as murals and sculptures. A great number of artifacts are exhibited at the museums of Euboea and Thebes, which are under the supervision of the Ephorates of Antiquities of Euboea and Boeotia, and others are collected in storage facilities.
