The Research Centre for Medieval and Modern Hellenism (KEMNE) has succeded the Medieval Archive (Mesaionikon Archeion) founded in 1930. The aim of KEMNE is to conduct research on medieval and modern Hellenism especially during the Ottoman and the Venetian era.
