The Folklore and Social Anthropology Laboratory was founded in July 2015 at the School of Classical and Humanities Studies which is part of the University of Thrace. Given the range of topics taught and the number of distinguished academic staff, but also the richness of the broader geographic area in which it is located in the north east part of Greece, the “Folkore and Social Anthropology Lab” of the University of Thrace, has developed significant scientific, educational, research and publishing activity, promoting folklore academic studies in Greece.
