The Interactive Arts lab (InArts) supports doctoral and postdoctoral research. The research activity is a central axis in the planning of the actions and directions of the laboratory at the research and also at the development level. The specific objectives include: 1) the production of knowledge for the development of aesthetics and methodology, art and communication for education and culture and 2) the design and creation of sophisticated art forms and communication systems. The Special Research Funds Account of the Ionian University was established in 1988 with the aim of meeting the needs of managing funds from any source and intended to cover expenses, which are necessary for the implementation of research, educational , , development projects, ongoing training projects, as well as other relevant services or activities that contribute to the connection of education and research with production.
