Ο θολωτός τάφος IV ανασκάφηκε από τον Lord William Taylour και αναστηλώθηκε το 1957. Στο εσωτερικό του εντοπίστηκε ένας μεγάλος λάκκος προορισμένος για ταφές και ένας κτιστός τάφος στον τύπο της σαρκοφάγου. Ο τάφος είχε συληθεί ήδη από την αρχαιότητα, οπότε τα κτερίσματα που βρέθηκαν ήταν ελάχιστα, περιλάμβαναν όμως μια χρυσή βασιλική σφραγίδα με παράσταση γρύπα, 4 χρυσές γλαύκες και, το σημαντικότερο εύρημα, ένα χρυσό δαχτυλίδι με απεικόνιση ιερού κορυφής Μινωικού τύπου. The tholos tomb IV was excavated by Lord William Taylour and was restored in 1957. In the tholos was discovered a large burial pit and a built grave, like a sarcophagus. The tomb had been already looted in antiquity, so the grave goods were few and far between. Thefinds comprised a golden royal sealing with a griffin, four golden owls, and a golden ring with a depiction of a Minoan summit sanctuary, probably the most important find of all. (EN)
