A tool consisting of two rectangular pieces of wood joined at one end by a leather hinge. There is an aperture in one of the pieces of wood, and this holds the stem of a goblet or wineglass while it is being made. The clapper is used to squeeze a blob of glass in order to form the foot. Brown wood, probably apple or pear wood, leather; handmade. Two wooden leaves, fastened together with two leather hinges, each having four small nails. One leaf is a long narrow rectangle with a handle having a hook for hanging, the other leaf has no handle and has cut-outs for flat circular objects. The inner surface of both is slightly charred. Un outil composé de deux morceaux de bois rectangulaires reliés à une extrémité par une charnière en cuir. Il y a une ouverture dans l'un des morceaux de bois, et cela tient la tige d'un gobelet ou d'un verre à vin pendant sa fabrication. Le battant est utilisé pour presser une goutte de verre afin de former le pied. Bois brun, probablement pommier ou poirier, cuir; Fait main. Deux feuilles de bois, fixées ensemble par deux charnières en cuir, chacune ayant quatre petits clous. Une feuille est un long rectangle étroit avec une poignée ayant un crochet pour accrocher, l'autre feuille n'a pas de poignée et a des découpes pour les objets circulaires plats. La surface intérieure des deux est légèrement carbonisée. (FR)
