Letter by Elena Venizelou to Dimitrios Kaklamanos in which she conveys various information regarding the publication of Eleftherios Venizelos' translation of Thucydides' History of the Peloponnesian War. She mentions Metaxas's decision to ban the reading of Thucydides in Greek schools, commenting that he rejects what he cannot understand. She is happy that there is already interest among Greek academics about the publication of Thucydides and she informs him that she expects from the publishing house of Oxford the supplementary sets for the additional printings.
