The Lyceum Club of Greek Women of Naoussa (LEN), immediately upon its establishment, started to collect folklore objects with the aim of salvaging the folkloric wealth of Naoussa and creating a Folklore Museum. Thus, the members of the board of LEN had gathered and salvaged a great part of the regional cultural heritage by 2001, at which point the Historical and Folklore Museum of the Municipality of the Heroic City of Naoussa was founded.
